Healing begins with being known.
Life has a way of changing us.

Sometimes slowly. Â Sometimes all at once.

Maybe you're carrying grief that changed everything. Maybe anxiety has made it hard to feel like yourself. Maybe your relationships feel strained, the past keeps showing up in the present, or you simply know something needs to change.

You don't have to have the right words for it yet.

Aspen Counseling Co. is a place to help you slow down, be honest about where you are, and begin making sense of what comes next.

You were never meant to navigate every season alone.

Meet Kristin
I believe counseling should feel like a real conversation with someone who is genuinely invested in knowing you, not a clinical experience where you feel analyzed from across the room.

My approach is warm, honest, and practical. We'll make room for the hard things, understand the patterns that keep you stuck, and work towards meaningful change that carries beyond the counseling room.

I work with individuals, couples, children, and teens navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, and seasons of significant change.

My faith deeply shapes who I am and how I understand people, healing, and hope. For clients who want faith to be a part of counseling, I will be glad to integrate it. For those who don't, you will still find a place where you are welcomed, respected, and cared for.

It would be an honor to walk beside you.

The Aspen Tree
Aspen trees are remarkably resilient. They endure harsh winters, changing seasons, fire and damage.. and still, beneath the surface, their roots remain capable of producing new growth.Â

What appears above ground to be grove of individual trees may actually be deeply connected below the surface. Their roots form a shared system, allowing new growth to emerge from something larger than any one tree standing alone.

And when one tree's season comes to an end, the story of the grove doesn't end with it. The root system remains. New trees rise from the same roots, carrying forward something that existed before them, and will continue beyond them.

There is something deeply human about that.

We endure seasons that change us. We experience loss. We are shaped by the people we love, the communities that hold us, and the stories that came before us. Some people leave marks on our lives that remain long after they are gone. And sometimes, even when it feels like nothing is changing on the surface, roots are still strengthening underneath.Â

Healing isn't about returning to who you were before the hard season. It's about tending to what remains, finding strength in connection, and making room for new growth.

At Aspen Counseling Co., you don't have to do that alone.

Even after the hardest seasons, roots remain. Connection maters. And new growth is still possible.

Where healing takes root.
